Zombies Retreat Cheats: Void & Cheat Rock Guide

If you’re like me and just want to make your playthrough of Zombies Retreat a little easier or a lot easier, there are two main ways to cheat: the Void and the secret Cheat Rock. Here’s what I learned while playing.

Cheating with the Void

When I played on Easy mode, I noticed a dark whirlpool (the Void) just outside the home base, on the left side of the screen, right next to the character. Interacting with it opens up a hidden menu where you can tweak almost anything: crafting resources, current HP, max HP, food, water… basically your whole survival balance.

How to Use the Void Whirlpool Cheat in Zombies Retreat

Here’s how to activate it:

1. Set your game difficulty to Easy in the settings.
2. Exit your home base and walk toward the leftmost or rightmost edge of the map.
3. Look for a swirling black vortex (it’s subtle but visible against the background).
4. Tap or interact with the Void to open the cheat console.
5. Adjust values for:
   • Crafting Resources (wood, metal, etc.)
   • Current Health Points
   • Max Health
   • Food and Water levels

⚠️ Warning: Once you use the Void, a permanent “cheat mode” flag is set. According to in-game logs, this disables certain endgame quests and achievements. Use only if you’re playing for fun, not completion.

Where Is the Cheat Rock in Zombies Retreat?

Answer: The Cheat Rock is a hidden interactive object located just outside your home base. It’s camouflaged among regular terrain but responds to specific text commands when tapped.

During our field tests, we found the rock northeast of the main cabin, near a broken fence post. It looks like an ordinary gray boulder—but tapping it brings up a command input box.

Unlike the Void, the Cheat Rock doesn’t alter resources directly. Instead, it accepts text-based cheat codes to reset characters, toggle autosave, or adjust difficulty tone.

What Are All the Working Zombies Retreat Cheat Codes?

Answer: All cheat codes in Zombies Retreat are case-sensitive and must be entered exactly as shown. They only work via the Cheat Rock interface.

Here’s the complete verified list:

• ResetHer – Resets Leslie’s name and role.
• ResetHim – Resets the main character’s (MC) name.
• ResTutor – Resets Rachel’s name and role.
• ResCouns – Resets Caroline’s name and role.
• SirenSez – Restores Leslie, Rachel, and Caroline to their default story roles.
• Autosave – Toggles autosave ON or OFF.
• TooHard – Reduces challenge intensity on higher difficulties (though full effect is limited).
