Summertime Saga: Diane Full Walkthrough (Stable & Preview Guide)

Diane is Debbie’s best friend and your neighbor with a green thumb. While she starts with a humble vegetable garden, her ambitions (and assets) quickly grow into a dairy business. Below, you will find the guides for both the current Stable Version (Complete Story) and the Preview Version (Work in Progress).

Diane Walkthrough in The Preview Version (New Update)

Use this guide if you are playing the latest “Tech/Rework” builds.

Current Status: Work In Progress (WIP). The story currently pauses after the initial gardening tasks.

1. Meeting Diane:

   • Go to Diane’s House (Purple roof, top-middle of the map).

   • Click the Shed to enter the backyard.

2. The Shovel Quest:

   • Diane needs help. Return to Debbie’s House (Your Home).

   • Grab the Garage Key from the coat rack in the Lobby.

   • Enter the Garage. Take the Shovel from the left wall.

3. Gardening:

   • Return to Diane’s backyard. Give her the shovel.

   • Click the garden patch to complete the Gardening Minigame.

4. The Follow-up:

   • Wait 1 Day.

   • Return to the backyard and talk to Diane to complete the current content.

Diane’s story will return in a future update.

Diane Walkthrough in The Stable Version (Legacy)

Use this guide if you are playing the older, completed version of the game.

📋 Prerequisites

• Debbie’s Route: Must be completed (or advanced enough to access her room).

• Stats: Strength 2+ (Required for the wheelbarrow).

• Money: Approx. $400.

• Item: Library Card.

Phase 1: The Garden & The Pests

1. The Heavy Lifting:

   • Wait 6 Days after meeting her.

   • Go to her Garden. Click the Wheelbarrow. (Requires Strength 2).

2. Pizza Delivery:

   • Unlock: You must have visited Tony’s Pizza at least once.

   • Talk to Diane. She gives you a delivery box.

   • Go to the Pizzeria. Follow Maria to the storage room.

   • Return to Diane.

3. The Drunk Nurse:

   • Wait 2 Days. Find Diane tipsy in the garden.

   • Carry her to bed. Go to her Kitchen -> Get Water -> Bring it to her.

4. Bug Infestation (Critical Step):

   • Trigger: The next day, the garden is swarmed.

   • Action: Go to the Mall -> Consum-R.

   • Item: Buy the Bug Annihilator Spray (The one with the GREEN CAP). Do not buy the wrong one!

   • Clearance: Return to the garden and use the spray.

5. The Cucumber:

   • Next Day: Diane is missing. Enter her house -> Kitchen.

   • Next Morning: Debbie wakes you up. Go to Diane’s Garden. Give her the tool left on the kitchen counter.

Phase 2: The Dairy Business

6. Daycare Delivery:

   • Wait 3 Days. Visit Diane.

   • Pick up milk from the Shed. Deliver it to Lucy at the Daycare (next door).

   • Return to Diane. She is sleeping. Leave the money in her bedroom.

7. The Sunscreen & Cocktail:

   • Wait 2 Days. Visit the Garden (Afternoon).

   • Wait for Evening. Talk to Debbie at home (she asks you to bring a pie).

   • Go to Diane’s Shed.

   • The Routine:

     1. Next Day: Go to Garden. Go to Shed -> Pump the Milk Jug.

     2. Drink: Diane asks for a drink. Check the recipe in her Kitchen. Make it and bring it to her.

     3. Reward: Apply sunscreen to her back and chest.

8. The School Delivery:

   • Next Day: Talk to Diane. Get milk from the Shed.

   • Go to School. Annie sends you to the Principal’s Office.

   • Free Rhonda. Deliver milk to the Cafeteria.

   • Return to Diane.

9. Dinner at Home:

   • Next Day: Debbie invites Diane for dinner.

   • Task: You need a Sea Trout.

   • Solution: Go to the Pier. Buy one from Captain Terry or catch it with the fishing rod.

   • Event: Return to your Kitchen to start the dinner scene.

Phase 3: The Barn & The Breeding

10. Barn Construction:

    • Next Day: Diane wants to build a barn.

    • Crew: Go to Annie’s House (to recruit Richard).

    • Tools: Pick up the Hammer and Handsaw in Annie’s garage/house.

    • Completion: Finish the job. Escort Diane to your house (Front Door). She moves in temporarily.

11. The Breeder Guide:

    • Wait 1 Week. The Barn is finished.

    • Go to the Barn. Richard gives you a Statue Piece.

    • Shopping List:

      1. Consum-R: Buy a Milk Jug.

      2. Library: Talk to Jane. Buy/Borrow the “Breeder Guide” book.

    • Give items to Diane.

    • Warning: Do NOT select “Ready to pump?” yet. It can cause bugs.

12. The Cow Suit & Hospital:

    • Wait 2 Days. Evening -> Living Room (Diane reading).

    • Next Morning -> Kitchen -> Barn.

    • Quest:  (2nd Floor) for her checkup.

    • Final Item: Next Day, go to Mall -> Pink Store. Collect the package from Ivy (The Cow Outfit).

10. The Finale (Threesome):

    • Deliver the outfit. Complete the “Breeding” scene in the Barn.

    • Prerequisite: Ensure Debbie’s route is 100% complete.

    • Trigger: Evening -> Try to enter Debbie’s Bedroom. Diane stops you.

    • Result: This triggers the final threesome event with Debbie and Diane.
